We have unique work by local, emerging, and accomplished artists from studios across the country, Canada, and Europe, such as Ari, Graham, Kachen, LeKinff, Stein, Tarkey, and Vega. We are proud to offer original etchings, lithographs, and serigraphs by notable artists such as Calder, Cezanne, Durer, Kandinsky, Peter Max, Miro, Manet, Magritte, Renoir, and others. All of our artwork is fully documented and comes with a certificate of authenticity (masterworks include provenance).
Selected work by local artists is displayed in the gallery each month, beginning on the First Tuesday Art Walk, and remains on display until the next First Tuesday. Many of the world's greatest studios, art schools and museums, such as the British Museum, the Louvre, the Prado, and the Ufizzi still teach by having students copy the Masters. Many gallery and studio artists create and sell high quality reproductions. U.S. and European copyright law sets strict guidelines for reproducing artwork; 1) the artist/studio/gallery must have permission from the original artist or the artist's publisher or, if the artist is deceased, from the estate or museum owning the work, 2) a reproduction can not be the same size as the original and, 3) if the work is created to be sold, the work must be clearly noted as a reproduction by having the original artists name appear beneath the "new" artist's name or have documentation attesting to the origin of the reproduction.
